The Social Accelerators is a digital marketing agency specialised in working with local authorities, LEP’s, business support agencies and community interest companies, promoting public funded programmes of support for individuals and businesses.
Since 2011, we’ve created the strategy and run thousands of digital campaigns, through social media, social adverts, email marketing, digital user journeys and compelling web pages to engage the ideal audience for each programme of support or event to achieve the required outputs.
We often work on programmes from the very beginning, marketing to both individuals and businesses, but have also assisted when outputs are not where they need to be later on in a programme, generating sign ups to business support programmes, additionally delivering over 300 outputs in less than 6 months!

What I’ll do for you:
I set up The Social Accelerators in 2010, just as social media was becoming mainstream, spotting an opportunity for my clients to be able to engage with their audiences in new ways. I’ve tried and tested literally thousands of digital marketing techniques and strategies to get the best possible results. With over 20 years experience in sales prior to setting up my company, I know how to create compelling messages that get people to engage!
My job is to make sure we run the most successful campaign possible for you to achieve your objectives!
I believe in collaborative working, and where possible engage other businesses and freelancers in your local area to support us in delivering the objectives of our clients, whilst maintaining overall campaign and client relationship control.
I love working on programmes of support as I see the huge impact that they make!
I’m a mentor to young people who wish to work in the digital sector. I co-created a traineeship called Social Media for Social Purpose with another digital marketing company, where we gave young people the skills to use their social media skills for business purposes, getting them back into study and apprenticeships. I’m passionate about solving digital poverty and tackling digital exclusion.
I’ve been running my business remotely since 2014 (so all of our meetings will be online) as I love to travel, and I’m currently living in Gran Canaria as a ‘digital nomad’, and enjoy the mix of working from my home office and co-working spaces. Living abroad has taught me many skills which help me in my work, including thinking more creatively to communicate (especially when I had less Spanish skills!), explaining concepts in a simple way that everyone can understand, and seeing the impact first hand of the ‘hard to reach communities’, what that experience feels like and how that can be overcome.
In my spare time, I like to explore, people watch, swim, walk my dog and practice my Spanish.
